Romina Chávez Valle
Romina is the first and only child in her family. When Romina's mother was pregnant and expecting Romina, she suffered from infections. Romina was born apparently well until four months after Romina's birth when her parents realized that Romina was not behaving like other children her age. They took her to the doctor but she was not diagnosed until months later with delayed psychomotor development & visual and hearing impairments. Nowadays Romina continues fighting for his health, seeking greater independence. You can become a hope for Romina's life. Romina arrives at CRISMA in her mother's arms. Due to her birth condition Romina is a child that does not tolerate touch and is irritable, during the therapies at CRISMA Romina cries but when she listens to songs and feels her mom close to her she calms down. Romina has had great achievements but is still working very hard to be able to sit up on her own.
About her family
Romina lives with her mom and dad and her grandparents in her paternal grandparents' house. She has two pets, a dog and a kitten, and is integrated into the family diet.
About her treatment
Romina has had a difficult time throughout her life due to her birth condition but at CRISMA Romina has a comprehensive rehabilitation treatment focused on strengthening his psychomotor system consisting of standing and sitting therapies as well as stimulation therapies.
