Damian is the first and only child of his family, Damian was born at 40 weeks gestation, by natural childbirth without complications. At the first months of life Damian was diagnosed with delayed psychomotor development due to a neurological disorder. When he arrived at CRISMA we noticed an important generalized muscular hypotonia. Nowadays Damián continues fighting for his health, seeking greater independence. You can become a hope for Damián's life. About Angel Damián
Damian is a very smiling child, he smiles when his mom sings to him and teaches him to dance. Due to his birth condition, some days Damian is very irritable but it is because the therapies he has to do are difficult for him but they are necessary for his development. He will eventually come to understand his therapies. In the meantime, Damian has a beautiful family that supports him, takes care of him and worries about his well being and with the support of his family and his godfather, Damian will get ahead, achieving the independence he deserves.
About his family
Damian lives with his mom and dad, his parents work as kitchen helpers, they alternate their schedules to take care of Damian allowing Damian to never be alone and always in the care of his parents. Damian's father has attention deficit and language problems.
About his treatment
His comprehensive rehabilitation treatment is focused on strengthening his psychomotor system, based on: Therapies focused on increasing muscle tone, waist dissociation, transfers for crawling and creeping, strengthening of crawling and creeping, therapies to achieve standing and a correct gait pattern.
