Ingrid is the youngest child in her family. When Ingrid was 5 months old she suffered several seizures and was diagnosed with epilepsy. Months later Ingrid was hospitalized on multiple occasions for recurrent seizures that were difficult to control.On her second birthday Ingrid stopped seizing, and has not had any more seizures. Nowadays Ingrid continues fighting for her health, seeking greater independence. You can become a hope for Ingrid's life. About Ingrid Ariadna
Ingrid arrived at CRISMA hand in hand with her mom with a big smile but also a great sensitivity, Ingrid enjoys her therapies because she thinks she is playing, she likes to use the treadmill and she loves bubbles. When Ingrid arrived at CRISMA she could not utter words, only sounds, and with the passage of time and her therapies she can say several words, but it is still difficult for her. Ingrid is a very smart and cheerful girl, she loves balls and playing with her big brother.
About her family
Ingrid lives with her mom and dad and an older brother, her father works as a teacher and her mother works in the school cafeteria, only because of the current situation she is at home. Ingrid is a very loved child by her family, her mother has dedicated her life to take care of her.
About her treatment
Her comprehensive rehabilitation treatment is focused on strengthening her psychomotor system, based on: Therapies to promote independent walking, Therapies for the application of textures to reduce sensibility, Vestibular exercises. Therapies to work on balance & Gait therapies on unstable surfaces
