Alejandro López Rodríguez
Alejandro has a twin sister. He is the second child in his family, Alejandro was born at eight months by natural childbirth, at birth he presented hypoxia for this reason he was administered oxygen for 3 weeks and was fed through a tube, he had a low birth weight. One week after birth he was diagnosed with Down syndrome. From birth to the present Alejandro has been on heart treatment. He also suffers from nystagmus and strabismus. Nowadays Alejandro continues fighting for his health, seeking greater independence. You can become a hope for Alejandro's life. Alejandro is a very smiling and cheerful boy, he loves balls and playing with them, he adores his twin sister and likes to play with her. He is very active and full of energy. Since he was four months old he started his physical therapy at CRISMA where he has made great progress thanks to his charisma and the support of his family.
About her family
Alejandro lives with his mother and his father also lives with his twin sister and a twenty-four year old brother. His mother is a housewife, she only works seasonally and when she is at home she spends her time taking care of Alejandro and his little sister. His father is a mechanic. Alejandro does not attend kindergarten and is only cared for his mother at home.
About her treatment
His comprehensive rehabilitation treatment is focused on strengthening his psychomotor system, based on the following therapies: - 4-point sitting position - Crawling - 4-point position to kneeling - Hanging to standing position. - Walking
